The Family + Faith Subscription was born out of a question we started to ask ourselves in 2020 when life shifted us into our homes, the world shut down and more specifically as church doors closed.
We had been actively seeking the Lord for what felt like so many things for what also felt like forever and we had literally thrown our hands in the air, feeling so very broken and still desperate for answers.
We knew, that we knew, that we knew, that the life God had for us was so much more than the one we were living.
After a very vivid dream (angel escort and all), which we felt strongly was an instruction, we packed up our family of 8, new baby in tow, put the contents of our home into storage and we set out for what we planned to be a 6 week adventure.
Six weeks to really get with God and each other, undistracted, and get some answers.
One of the biggest questions we left with was this……..if we had one year to teach our children everything we wanted them to know about God (and we had no Sunday school class to drop them off at or the newest, fanciest pastor endorsed curriculum to lead us) and all we had was our own relationships with The Lord + The Bible what would we teach them?
What would we show them with our own lives? How would we get The Gospel message so deep into their hearts that it became part of who they are, not just scripture they memorized for tokens each week. What would we say that would leave a legacy long past us?
